*APC CONGRESS@LANWA WARD:*  The ward Congress went on peacefully as new Executive emerged to run the affairs of APC beyond 2023 of Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRasaq's tenure. The present team is saddled with the responsibility to give positive result to ensure 4+4=8 in 2023, tested and passed the litmus to run the affairs.  Grateful to Allah for His presence for making the Congress a peaceful one and to AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for his diligence and ability to pass over the dividend of democracy to Lanwa Ward and Kwara state in general. It is obvious that the physical presence of available infrastructure, engineered by community efforts is more than government intervention. Before now,  Lanwa would have been a conglomerate city which would have helped in  providing employment for over fifty thousand ( 50,000) youth across the state, but with myopic thinking, the past government made this impossible simply because of greed. The Community is endowed with people who believe in self-reliance to create wealth while some are predominantly farmers. *ILORIN DURBAR:* Reason for venue change Till now, many people don't know the reason why how the changes of venue came about.  The Stadium complex that was initially scheduled as the Venue  for the 2021 Durbar Annual festival was a good suggestion due to space and well organized Arena. Very many people are yet to know that the effect of using Stadium complex for 2021 Durbar likely to gulp the state almost over N500m to repair the synthetic carpet that might be damaged by horse riding. *EID-L-KABIR ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS BY KWEPA*  Eid-l-kabir stands to be a unique day and week of sacrifice with different activities that might result to generation of Animal dungs and food wastes. Kwara state Environmental protection Agency has met with the Social Contractors on the need to double their efforts day and night to evacuate wastes on the major streets for clean environment. The Commercial Waste Managers should not be left out to patronize their Clients to avoid littering and dumping of dung waste on the street, surrounding and gutter.
