Security Alert in Ilorin metropolis

MORNING DIGEST ON SECURITY ALERT IN ILORIN METROPOLIS.

It is not longer a news that migration of different people from different part of the country are taking refuge in the state capital of Ilorin in search of peaceful atmosphere due to unrest in the North, West, South and West.

I took my precious time to move round to the point of taking Okada (Bike) to know who and who has mingle with the people of peaceful minds in the state capital.

In my research, it was discovered that 30% of Okada riders could not speak any Nigeria Languages while most of their Okada has no valid documents while some of the Riders has no forwarding addresses.

It is very uncommon in Ilorin to see about 8 Okadas (Motor bikes) with occupants in convoy to unknown destination- this happened along Fate/ShopRite road heading to the town despite the fact there is a ban for any Okada to move at that time.

There is no doubt about it, Okadas are the instruments to commit crimes at all time, then why must they be allowed to mess our environnent by the Security Agents (Police).

As a son of the soil, i wish to notify the Government to bring every Okada owners in a pool in a  technological way by ensuring they have an *ID number,*  *Name,* *Address and,* *Registration* *numbers* which goes with *BIOMETRIC CAPTURING (Fingerprints Verification)* for Keke Marwa, Taxis and Bikes....the programing to this effect has been completed freely for humanity to monitor all the Okadas.

If I may digress a little, I would suggest the Security Agents should peep into Ojagboro Junction, the presence of foreigners who can't speak any Nigeria Languages, but always hanged at that junction to sell hard drugs and commit all forms of atrocities in our land.

The management of KWEPA had several meetings with Magaji Maigidan-Sanma to dislodge them for Environmental nuisance and encroachment, but yielded no fruits, I suspect, all these people might be the agents who survey for kidnappings- action needed.

It is not too late to draft local vigilante to these areas while the Police assist to comb the affected areas for peace to reign.

Million has seek refuge in Ilorin, but the people of Ilorin has no any other places to seek refuge or run to, hence the citizens are advised to come together irrespective of our political and religious  status/differences to sanitize our community.

KWEPA inaugurates Offa Weekly Market Sanitation The General Manager of the Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), Alhaji Saad Ayuba Dan-Musa has inaugurated the Weekly Market Sanitation at Owode Market in Offa, Offa Local Government Area.   Speaking at the occasion, Alhaji Dan Musa urged  the people of Owode Market to always ensure the market is clean and tidy in order to prevent diseases and other ailments that may arise from dirty environments.
