Familiarization Visit: Dan-Musa Receives Commendation from Accountant-General 

...As he calls him "A Man of the People"

The General Manager of the Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA) , Alhaji Saad Ayuba Dan-Musa, paid a familiarization visit to the Accountant-General (AG) of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Sanni earlier today.

The visit was carried out in order to formally welcome the newly-appointed Accountant General and also  look for ways to ensure a smooth synergy between the Agency and the AG's office. 

" The Executive Governor of the State, Alh. Abdulrahman Abdulrazak, is known for putting round pegs in round holes and one of such can be likened to your appointment. We rest assured that you are capable of doing the job well and ensuring that there is accountability and openness", Dan-Musa said. 

He added that the Agency has been collaborating with different Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to ensure that there is a proper sanitation and waste management system, adding that  fumigation is very important to prevent unwanted creatures from harming the workers. 

While welcoming the Management, the newly-appointed Accountant General of the State, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Sanni, applauded the Agency on its laudable achievements while adding that the positive impacts are being felt as a cleaner and greener Kwara is coming to be. He prayed for more grace for the Agency to succeed in its duties and gave assurances of the cooperation of his office in achieving a neater Kwara.

Calling Dan-Musa "a man of the people", the AG advised him to continue doing the good works he is known for, adding that even if some people resist the good change being brought to Kwara, he should not dwell on negative comments but strive to perform his sworn duties as it is a service to humanity. He added that it is a privilege and an honorable thing to be called upon to serve one's people. 

In his own speech, the Controller of Finance and Accounts (CFA) of KWEPA, Mr. Mohammed Baba Ibrahim, appreciated the Accountant General for the warm welcome and kind words, praying for God's guidance for the new AG in discharging his duties.

KWEPA inaugurates Offa Weekly Market Sanitation The General Manager of the Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), Alhaji Saad Ayuba Dan-Musa has inaugurated the Weekly Market Sanitation at Owode Market in Offa, Offa Local Government Area.   Speaking at the occasion, Alhaji Dan Musa urged  the people of Owode Market to always ensure the market is clean and tidy in order to prevent diseases and other ailments that may arise from dirty environments.
