*ENVIRONMENTAL UPDATE ON ENCROACHMENT: APPRECIATION TO DR AFEEZ ABOLORE ALABI & OTHERS!*
Why do we call Ilorin our proud city? It is to play our individual roles to ensure the Emirate is rated the best among other contemporary states in the country like kaduna, Osun, Lagos and others.
In a bid to secure Ipata market from lost of lives resulting from encroachment to the road and indiscriminate dumping of waste, Dr. Afeez Abolore Alabi played important roles to support KWEPA as a Social Agency to barricade the market with galvanize pipe from Pake Primary to the gate.
This project has pave ways for passerbys and equally minimized danger on that axis and no passes through without praying for the executors and contributors; may Allah reward Dr. Alabi Abolore.
In the same vain, our community appreciate people like
(1). AbdulHakeem Mustapha (SAN) who donated of 24 new class rooms and an ict centre by IKH IWANU NASIR DEEN PRIMARY SCHOOL AT KUNTU (OJATUNTUN) ILORIN
(2). Alhaji Yakubu Gobir who remodelled the ancient and oldest primary school, Okesuna Primary School to modern standard.
(3). Alhaji Oba Ajikobi 14 toilet facilities to Ajikobi Community to curb environmental nuisance.
(4). Alhaji Idris A. Saidu has provided shelter and empowerment to thousands of indigenes
(5). Yahaya Oloriegbe fought for National Hospital (pscharic Hospital) to Budo-Egba in the Emirate.
(6). Dr Yusuf Lawal has bought the glory in laying good foundation to ensure millions of our youths got admitted, most importantly, he has taken Jihadist for adequate maintenance of our Central mosque.
(7). Engr. Suleiman Yahaya Alapasanpa; the innovator and grand planner of our Heritage (Durbar Festival) that remain the bridge that connects every citizens irrespective of status.
(8). Prof. M. O Ibrahim an advocate for justice and phillathropist.
(9). Mallam AbdulRasaq AbdulRahman who made the Emirate rural areas as his priority for development; the tarring of township roads and modern Hospitals eg Lanwa town and others.
(10). Dr Aisha Tokunbo Ajia, foundation woman member of IEDPU and ILORIN ANCHOR, UK Branch. She never wasted time to contribute her quota for the development of the Emirate.
(11). Engr. Olufadi Bayo, the silent achiever and the foundation President of Ilorin Anchor.
(12). Dr Bukola Saraki facilitated the modernization and remodelling of Ilorin Central and Agbaji mosques.
In the recent time, the tsunami on development has come to take place in the Emirate, where do you place yourself in the book of record?
Everybody is appreciated for their supports to make the Emirate a befitting place for living.
In my capacity, I need 1000 signatures to pave way for motorists and passerbys at Adifa/Gbagba/Gambari as the second phase after Ipata market. They encroach the road; no shops in that axis with toilet facilities, so sad, indeed!
