*Lanwa, the ancient town about to wear a new look by AA!*

 _By Danmusa, Saad Ayuba_

Lanwa town would have been the business hub of the state, if all things been equal, but with the approval and commencement of township road project, the Mallam AbdulRasaq AbdulRahman government has wiped away the tears from the face of the citizens that has been subjected to hardship by the past government.

The founder of Lanwa founded most of the towns in Moro which includes Bode-Saadu and Jebba but never been given her rights; historically, the town ought to have been the seat of government before taking/moving it to Bode-Saadu.

The Citizens are focussed and self-reliance which has led to community efforts to single handenly construct and tarred the link road to Oke-Oyi in 1982 which was washed away by erosion because of lack of maintenance by the successive past governments who only come to campaign with empty promises.

The government of Mallam AbdulRasaq AbdulRahman has done it in a miraculous way, he promised and fulfilled his promise on Lanwa township road project, the first ever in the history of the town and Kwara State in particular.

It is now obvious that with the standard infrastructures in Lanwa, it would minimize the movement of people from rural to Urban areas; the town can now boast of standard schools, hospital uninterrupted power supply and the ongoing township to make life easier; may Allah make life easy for Gov. AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman. Amin
