KWEPA EXTENDS ITS INSPECTION TO COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, ORO
The Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency in its undaunted zeal towards fulfilling the directive of his Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq in ensuring that Kwara State becomes a save and habitable place for all, has today extended  its inspection exercise to Kwara State College of Education, Oro.


The General Manager of the Agency, Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa during the inspection, explained the need for the institution to be inspected saying that, with the large number of students and staff of the college  coupled with their movement on and off the campus, it thus becomes exigent that a thorough inspection be carried out on every quarter of the Institution.

Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa, in a   meeting with the Provost of the College Prof. Mukaila Ayande Aremu, and other managent staff of the Institution, emphasized that the present administration is  fully committed to ensuring that environmental pollution is fully sanctioned to prevent the possible outbreak of Lassa fever and its like in our State; as it's now evident in some of the states of the Federation. 

The inspection tpeam painstakingly worked and were able to tour round the entire quarters of the Institution including its Secondary and Basic School to ensure that the whole place is placed under strict hygienic condition. 

After the inspection, the team met with the provost and the management of the Institution to commend them for trying their best possible in ensuring that the environment is kept clean while also stating some important environmental issues that needs to be corrected.

In his response, the Provost of Kwara State College of Education, Oro, Prof. Mukaila Aremu,  on behalf of the entire College , appreciated the team for coming stating that the coming is indeed an enlightening one, pledging his full support for the government on environmental sanity maintenance.

Prof. Mukaila Alayande also gave an unreserved apology to the Agency for the few lapses discovered in the course of the inspection and promised that all would have been put in place before the next visit.
