KWEPA GM charges staff on dedication to duty

Staff of Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA) have been charged to be more dedicated to their job so that the Agency's Internally Generated Revenue target would be met.

The General Manager of the Agency, Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa, gave the charge today during the Agency's routine management meeting at its conference room.

Dan-Musa  applauded the good work of staff and the commendable feat the office has recorded, saying that the Agency has already accomplished its first quarter target spelt out in the Budget.

"Today I must commend all your efforts and I am proud to say it anywhere that KWEPA is blessed with intelligent personnel who are efficient and proactive to their official assignment.  I want you to continue in this good stride so that the goal and vision of the Agency could be optimally accomplished,"Dan-Musa said.

He equally tasked all the departmental  heads to buckle up and think outside the  box, come up with  new initiatives capable of bringing accelerated prospect to the agency and that would reposition and help Kwara State regain a facelift it deserves among its counterpart states of the federation.

The KWEPA boss, earlier, lauded the unceasing priority the government of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq has been giving environmental management and control in the state, citing the recently procured gigantic Rorobins as an example.

He noted that interventions by the state government should be consolidated by KWEPA staff through mass enforcement for strict compliance and proper utilization of the procured items by the populace.

"The Administration of Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq's commitment to the safety of life of kwarans is further acknowledged with the recently procured Rorobins, a  gesture that should be consolidated through more mass enforcements so that environmental pollution and its effects would be fully eradicated in Kwara state."

Meanwhile, the General Manager  has assured the staff of the agency of  his unflinching support toward ensuring that its official mandates are fully delivered, promising that all the highlighted challenges would be given considerable attention in a short time.
