KWSG commended on Developmental Project in the State.
The Kwara State Government has again been commended by the people of Lanwa, Moro Local Government, kwara State for infrastructural projects sprouting up in the Area.
The General Manager, Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa received the accolade on behalf of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, during an official visit paid to the place.
Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba explained that, as one of the cardinal responsibilities of his office, it became necessary to carryout Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) inspection on the ongoing Lanwa township Road Project executed by the State Government to ensuring that good work is delivered.
During the inspection exercise, The KWEPA boss, advised the Site Manager and his co-workers, to ensure perfect job is delivered, saying that all variables of that project, like drainage and taring, should be in conformity with the prescribed standard.
"...I want to implore you to please make sure that channelization of drainages and the three taring layers is fulfilled, as this project will not only serve today's purpose but that of future generation" says Alh Danmusa.
Speaking further, Alh. Dan-Musa, while interfacing with the Traditional Head and other stakeholders of Lanwa Community, assured the audience that the ongoing project is one out of many already executed by the lead Administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq across nooks and crannies of the State to annex its economic and social hegemony amongst other States of the Federation.
In his remark, The Alangua of Lanwa, Alh. Saliu Atanda Adenlolu, expressed his displeasure, prior to this time, at the appalling condition the Area has been, saying that Lanwa amongst its foremost created Wards in the State, if not been neglected by the previous regimes, should have enjoyed vast development by now.
"for many years in the past, we have not seen these kind of project coming from government, not until now. Even though he (the Governor) is not from our Area, but this gesture shown on us tells much that "he is a man of the Masses.
The Traditional Monarch, who said the recent development in the Area is unprecedented, applauded the government for her unselfish and timely intervention offered them on security and road infrastructure, while assuring that such gesture would be graciously reciprocated, comes the election period.
Also speaking, the Chairman APC, Lanwa Ward, Moro Local Government, Mallam Babatunde Alabi, disclosed that by performance, the present Administration has fulfilled its electioneering mandate, urging that additional social infrastructural amenities like, portable water, electricity and others be provided subsequently.
The Lanwa Ward Chairman who prayed for the Governor, for God's guidance and successful tenure, pledged his unalloyed support for His Excellency, saying that the entire people of Moro have endorsed him for Second Term in Office.
