KWEPA APPREHENDS ENVIRONMENTAL DEFAULTER, FACES LIKELY PROSECUTION. The kwara State Environmental Protection Agency in it's efforts to ensure strict adherence to environmental sanity for the safety of lives and property in the State has apprehended an environmental defaulter at Gambari axis, Ilorin. It was on records that the agency, in the fulfilment of it's statutory duties, had met with the developer of the newly constructed complexes at Gambari Axis, Ilorin while the project was still at foundation level to ensure that Environmental requisites such as waste management, drainages and toilet facilities are all adequately taken care of. To the dismay of the office, KWEPA, after several cautions and recommendations made available to the developer of the building in question, its order was flaunted, of which abatement notices have been served on the place; yet, the developer gave no regard which led to the eventual sealing of the place, Dan-Mu
