By Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa Lanwa Community is an ancient town like any other towns in Kwara state, but facing the challenges of infrastructural development for decades unlike any other contemporary towns in the state thereby depriving them from the shares of dividend of democracy. The infrastructures like portable Boreholes, Streetlights and construction of 25 kilometers Lanwa/Okeoyi Asphalt road in 1982 were embarked upon through Community efforts before it got decayed by the erosion due to lack of maintenance by the past governments. It was a sad day in the history of the people of Lanwa that woke up to witness the past governments (Land & Survey) using their instruments to acquired thousands of hectares of land in the rural community simply to frustrate the industrial set-up for the production of *Biodiesel through Jatropha Curcas* at Lanwa initiated by an Industrialist, Alh Yu
