Lanwa in Moro Local Govt needs Gov AbdulRahman's urgent Intervention!

Lanwa Community is an ancient town like any other towns in Kwara state, but facing the challenges of infrastructural development for decades unlike any other contemporary towns in the state thereby depriving them from the shares of dividend of democracy.
The infrastructures like portable Boreholes, Streetlights and construction of 25 kilometers Lanwa/Okeoyi Asphalt road in 1982 were embarked upon through Community efforts before it got decayed by the erosion due to lack of maintenance by the past governments.
It was a sad day in the history of the people of Lanwa that woke up to witness the past governments (Land & Survey) using their instruments to acquired thousands of hectares of land in the rural community simply to frustrate the industrial set-up for the production of *Biodiesel through Jatropha Curcas* at Lanwa initiated by an Industrialist, Alh Yusuf Amuda Orilowo.
The Industrial set up of biodiesel of over 5000 Employees company size, Lanwa/Oke-Oyi Dual Carriageway,
International schools, Airstrip and many other benefits were among the expected dividends to transform the town aside the taxes that would have accrued to the government of kwara state in the process.
Lanwa Community can never forget the damaged done to them by the past governments; total destruction in that vicinity has led to once a booming town to a ghost town, someone need not to be told, but posterity will judge!
The hopelessness of the people of Lanwa is getting a little bit solution by the present government of Mall AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for the construction of Lanwa township Asphalt road and hopefully to be completed.
The best option for the community is to draw the attention of His Excellency, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State the urgent need for certain social amenities in Lanwa community; we are in dire need of;
1. A University Satellite Campus while the people of Lanwa with multi dimensional thinking are ever ready to provide Lands, Buildings and facilities for the take-off.
2. Completion of modern Police Station Project embarked upon by the Community; imagine, a proactive Community having such an initiative to build a Police Station for Nigeria Police Force!
3. An improved road network rehabilitation of 25 kilometers Oke-Oyi/Lanwa road to alleviate the suffering of the people of over 5000 inhabitants in the axis.
The 100% loyalty of Lanwa Community to every successive government should not go in vein, the supports and intervention is now to bring back the lost glory.
