The recent insinuation that the Buses leased to the Road Transport ,Employers Assassination of Nigeria (RTEAN) Kwara State branch by the Kwara State government as old, rickety and unservicable has been described as a futile attempt at telling lies from the pit of hell.
This assertion was made in Ilorin today by the State Chairman of the Road Transport Workers, Alhaji Abdulrahman Onikijipa while receiving the Board members of the Kwara State Television Authority who paid him a courtesy visit as part of their engagements with critical stake holders.
Alhaji Onikijipa who expressed his Association's appreciation to the Kwara Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for the kind gesture said all the Buses are in top working condition adding that his members will start repaying their loans tomorrow so that others can benefit. He described the negative propaganda by the opposition as that which is dead on arrival.
The RTEAN boss commended the Kwara Television board for the remarkable improvement in the Station's services describing the Station as our "baby ,we shouldn't let it die" promising that his doors are always open for the station to knock on.
Earlier, Kwara TV board Chairman, Alhaji Hameed Adio extolled the virtues of the organisation as critical stakeholders in the social economic development of Kwara State through its unique role of moving the critical mass of our people across the country via road transportation.
The Kwara TV board Chairman commended the organisation for maintaining peace and unity amongst its members. He had earlier solicited a cordial working relationship that will be beneficial to the two organisations in their quest to add value to the living conditions of our people.
