KWEPA Penalizes Defaulters, Destroyed Expired Drinks. The kwara State Environmental Protection Agency KWEPA has penalized two defaulters and destroyed expired drinks recovered at the scene. The General Manager of the Agency, Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa, gave the directive following the release of the culprits from remand at the office of Kwara State Civil Defence Corps, in Ilorin recently. Recall that Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency, recently, apprehended two violators caught dumping indiscriminately at the late hour of Friday, 20th January, 2023 at Amilegbe Bridge, Ilorin. Sequel upon the disciplinary court set up by the agency on the matter on Monday, 23rd January, 2023 following the offenders' release from the State Civil Defence Corps, Ilorin; the two accused persons have been convicted of constituting nuisance and aiding environmental impunity in the public area; an action capable of  posing serious threats to the well being of the common

KWEPA ARRESTS DEFAULTERS ON ILLICIT DUMPING OF WASTE The Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), has arrested yet two offenders for dumping waste indiscriminately along Amilengbe, Ilorin South LGA, recently. The perpetrators of this ugly act met their Waterloo as they were caught red handed by the General Manager of the Agency Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa at about 8:32pm on Friday, 20th of January, 2023 while dumping heaps of refuse at Amilengbe Bridge. To the dismay of the general manager, both the offenders who would be assumed to be enlightened and educated, one with exotic car, Hilux Tundra with the Plate Number (Abuja KUJ-629 BW) and other being a tricycle rider,  brought out refuse in large volume containing expired drinks, remnants, and domestic waste, pouring them on the side of the bridge. Dan-Musa Condoles With Olawoyin Family  Alh Saad Ayuba Dan-Musa, the General Manager, Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA)has sent his condolences to the family of Olawoyin on the demise of the House leader Hon. Abubakar Magaji Olawoyin, an event he described as sad and painful. The General Manager said it is a rude shock and a very painful occurrence while describing the deceased as a distinguished politician who always had the interest of his community at heart.  Dan-Musa prayed to God to grant him Aljannah Firdaus and also grant his family friends and the house the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
