KWEPA Proposes E-Certificate, Curbing Irregularities and Promoting Ease of Doing Business. In its concerted effort to checkmate laxities in the issuance of certificates and creating a conducive working system that will promote ease of doing business, the Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency, KWEPA, proposed for Electronic Certificate to all its Clients. The general manager of the agency, Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa, gave the indication during a Consultative Seminar and the Official Presentation of the Project themed "Problem Solving" held recently in its office, Ilorin. A political Rally held against the Saturday Gubernatorial election held in Ilorin city. The Rally took place from Stadium and passing through to every corner of the city. Also, the 16 local governments were not left out at the same time; the spirit was so high that for several hours participants gladly participated without feeling hungry and tired. Kwara state was one of the states created in 1967 by General Yakubu Gowon alongside eleven states out of the four regions that existed at that time, appointing governors to head them. Kwara state was headed by Col. Ibrahim Taiwo. The move was as a ploy to weaken the Eastern Region and a breach of the Aburi Accord. Among other states are;  Plateau State- Pol Commissioner Joseph Gomwalk, Cross River State- Col Udoakaha Jacob Esuene;  Kano State- Col Sanni Bello Lagos State-Col Mobolaji Olufunso, to name, but a few.
