*KWEPA SEALS BUILDING FOR PRACTICING OPEN DEFECATION*  Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency in furtherance of the fight against open defecation which is a threat to Environmental health has sealed a residential building at the Agba-dam area of Kwara State. In continuance of the fight against open defecation, the General manager, Alhaji Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-musa gave the directive to the concerned department after the concerned landlord failed to adhere to the notices that had been previously issued to him. *KWEPA Seals Table Water Factories.*  The Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency has sealed two substandard water packaging factories in Offa metropolis for lack of required production facilities. The General Manager, Alh Saad Ayuba DanMusa has been working tirelessly to ensure that the substandard Water packaging factories disappear in kwara state owing to the fact that they constitute to the hardship of the citizens who consume the sachet water produced by them. The two water packaging factories, Tobik  Pure Water and Bright Pure Water were caught operating without obtaining the necessary environmental health permit. The factories also lacked proper documentation, hence  they were consequently sealed in accordance to the KWEPA Law Section 51. Follow Environmental Laws on Water Discharge: Risk facing Sanctions- Dan-Musa.  Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency has warned  fish farmers in the state to desist from acts that are capable of polluting the water in their operating environment or risk facing the wrath of the law as the government will not tolerate anything that will endanger the lives of the residents of the state. The General Manager of the Agency, Alhaji Saad Ayuba Dan-Musa  gave this warning while receiving the Executive members of Kwara State Fishv Farmers Association (KWAFFA) and Integrated Fish Farmers Association(IFFA) in his office on Thursday. KWSG Intensifies Fight Against Encroachment The General Manager of Kwara Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), Alhaji Saad Ayuba Dan-Musa has reiterated the commitment of the Kwara state government towards an environmental violation free society. Addressing market men and women during the weekly market sanitation at Ipata Market, in Ilorin East Local Government Area, Alhaji Saad Ayuba Dan-Musa advised the people not to see the government as inconsiderate, but rather be grateful to the government for having their best interest at heart. Dan-Musa explained that the government is trying to ensure that the lives of everyone is secure hence the reason why they have been provided with stalls inside the market to prevent accidents and eventualities. *KWEPA ENSURES FREE MOVEMENT OF PASSERSBY AND MOTORISTS AT IPATA MARKET*  ...while the Agency hope to move to Oja-Oba, the next phase... Ipata Market is free for all passersby and motorists, the first phase was Ita-Ahmadu while the next phase is Oja-Oba follow by Oja-Tuntun and Mandate markets. Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency would not relent their efforts to continue embarking on daily monitoring of encroachment to the road setback in all markets in the metropolis and other local government. The effort of the Agency can be described as service to humanity in line with Gov Abdulrasaq Abdulrahman's  willingness to have a befitting environment. The Agency plead to the stakeholders at Oja-Oba to give us moral supports to have a clean and clear environment like Ipata Market.

*OBSERVATIONS: LANWA RIPE FOR LDU AS PARENT BODY.*   _By Saad Ayuba Danmusa_  I insist, there must be a Parent body of LANWA DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (LDA) like IEDPU, we have such in Lafiaji, Ilorin, Iponrin, Igbaja and so many towns that can't be measured up with Lanwa, an ancient indeed! In my observation, what we have today in that ancient town is Lanwa Political Development Association which should not be. I guess we all know that even the Political Associations are divided into several units; there must be synergy among those who call themselves Political leaders we the same Ward. I want everyone to bear in mind today that Social Cultural Association is quite different from Political Association. Social Cultural Association enhance Unity, Love and Progress among citizens while Political Association hardly promote Unity rather than politics of bitterness. The functions of parent body could be seen as connection age; they ensure they attract people of high ...

*ENVIRONMENTAL UPDATES ON IPATA MARKET AS A PILOT SCHEME*  Ipata market has consumed lives as a result of  carelessness of our people and part of KWEPA's responsibilities is to enforce people to maintain the set back and dislodge encroachment. The same Ipata market got burnt recently because they refused to yield to several warnings by KWEPA management. Our collective attitudes has made our city to be dirty while many people are in the hospitals as a result of this environmental nuisance. There is no other option than to call for enforcement by my Agency, but i don't see any reason why people has to report me to my family members? Let us sensitize our people to desist from this habit as we can't be leaving in the past. *Ipata Market Is Free For Passersby* now and my appeal goes to all us to ensure we  pass the messages across to our people to stop the habit of bombarding the family houses with unnecessary complain. Also pray for me to succeed in this project.....

*KWEPA RIDS IPATA MARKET OF VIOLATIONS AND ENCROACHMENTS*  The Kwara State Government has intensified its war against road encroachment and environmental violations by market men and women in Ilorin as the Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA) task force storms Ipata Market as a pilot scheme to ensure compliance. KWEPA's Taskforce team on Encroachment went to Ipata market recently in  continuation of its fight against road encroachment and other environmental violations. The team which was led by the General Manager of the agency, Alhaji Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa rid the entire Ipata market of dirt and goods encroaching the roadsides, thereby making  movement in and outside the market easy. In 1982, the road that led to the town from Oke-Oyi was single handedly constructed by a Community Leader with motorized borehole across the town, but because of lack of maintenance and additional infrastructure over time by successive past governments, the road was washed away. Many has lost hope for good 37 years, but for sudden emergence of Gov AbdulRasaq, their tears has been wiped out due to government intervention within two years that involved the remodeling of school to standard form and reconstruction of the state of the heart hospital, this is enough to give him another chance till 2027. ...
