KWEPA INVITES MOTEST ON SYNERGY TO SPUR ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANLINESS IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS The Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), has called on the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology MOTEST  for symmetric approach to spur environmental cleanliness in all its higher institutions of learning in the state. The general manager of the agency, Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa gave the indication during its courtesy visit paid to the Ministry at its headquarters, today, in Ilorin. Alh. KWEPA Harps on Environment Higiene, says it's requires collective effort. The General Manager, Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa,  has  urged corporate bodies and individuals in the state to see environmental cleanliness as a collective effort. Dan- Musa made the call at the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority,  Headquarters, Ilorin, during a courtsey visit to the federal government agency. Alh. Sa'ad, during the meeting with the management of LNRBDA, explained that there was  an urgent need for the two agencies  to syndicate effort in controlling people's poor attitude of indiscriminate dumping of waste into  drainages and  river banks, adding that such synergy will inhibit adverse effect on the health of the general public and it's environs. KWEPA Charges Manufacturing Companies On Environmental and Health Safety precautions. The Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), has charged manufacturing companies in the state to beef up efforts in observing all environmental and health safety measures in their mode of operations. The general manager of the agency, Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa, gave the charge yesterday during an inspection tour paid to some of the manufacturing industries operating along Ogbondoro axis, Afon area, in Asa Local Government Area of the state. Alh Dan-Musa, explained that the inspection was to keep all the Industries abreast of some of the  intrecacies of the agency's environmental laws, checkmating their level of compliance and adherence to those laws to foster health safety within their premises and the residents in the areas.
