KWEPA APPREHENDS ENVIRONMENTAL DEFAULTER, FACES LIKELY PROSECUTION. The kwara State Environmental Protection Agency in it's efforts to ensure strict adherence to environmental sanity for the safety of lives and property in the State has apprehended an environmental defaulter at Gambari axis, Ilorin. It was on records that the agency, in the fulfilment of it's statutory duties, had met with the developer of the newly constructed complexes at Gambari Axis, Ilorin while the project was still at foundation level to ensure that Environmental requisites such as waste management, drainages and toilet facilities are all adequately taken care of. To the dismay of the office, KWEPA, after several cautions and recommendations made available to the developer of the building in question, its order was flaunted, of which abatement notices have been served on the place; yet, the developer gave no regard which led to the eventual sealing of the place, Dan-Mu...

KWEPA Admonishes  Residents to Embrace Environmental Sanitary Culture, Maintain Traffic Decorum The General Manager of the  Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency, Alhaji Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa, has charged the people of the state to embrace high hygenic standards and traffic decorum. Dan-Musa gave the charge in the course of  on-the-field storming exercise at Oja-Oba Ilorin, the state capital, in conjuction with other members of  Kwara State Taskforce- Kwara Road Traffic Maintenance Agency (KWARTMA), State Civil Defense Security Corps (SCDSC), and U & I, a Non-Governmental Organisation. Promoting environmental cleanliness, KWEPA receives commendation from NGO. The Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency in its committed stride in promoting environmental cleanliness across the nooks and crannies of the State has been commended recently by a Non Governmental Organization (NGO), U & I. KWEPA INVITES MOTEST ON SYNERGY TO SPUR ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANLINESS IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS The Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), has called on the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology MOTEST  for symmetric approach to spur environmental cleanliness in all its higher institutions of learning in the state. The general manager of the agency, Alh. Sa'ad Ayuba Dan-Musa gave the indication during its courtesy visit paid to the Ministry at its headquarters, today, in Ilorin. Alh.
